Newport Autism Support Group – Facebook

Friends of Early Bird Asd more commonly known as Newport Autism Support Group (NAG) for families, carers or adults with a diagnosis of ASD or who are on the clinical path to an ASD diagnosis.
We meet usually on the first Thursday morning of the month at Serennu Children’s Centre Newport, where we have talks from professionals, guest speakers, share our experiences, sign post to available resources on offer and offer support to each other through the difficult and frustrating, all while having some refreshments a chat and hopefully a laugh too!
We arrange trips and activities for our families to join in together, fundraising events to help lower the costs or to allow for a nominal payment.
We strive to make our meetings, activities and trips a safe environment for all who attend.
We have a library of books, specifically to help in all areas relating to autism and ADHD; for the carers, the young people and their siblings. Books are loaned-out for a one month period. Borrowers will be required to pay for replacing any lost or damaged books.
The NAG group meets every first Thursday of the month (during term-time), from 10 o’clock to 12 o’clock at the Serennu Centre.
