Gwent Drug and Alcohol Service (GDAS)
GDAS (Gwent Drug and Alcohol Service) provides free, confidential support for people experiencing issues with drugs or alcohol across Gwent. Whether you’re looking to reduce your substance use, start recovery, or support a loved one, GDAS offers personalised help to improve health, wellbeing and quality of life. Services include counselling, prescribing support, harm reduction, family support, recovery programmes, and referrals for residential treatment. Support is available locally and online.
Gwent N-gage
Gwent N-gage provides free, confidential support for young people under 18 who are affected by drug or alcohol use. The service also supports young adults aged 18–21 who need help transitioning to adult substance use services. In addition, N-gage offers advice, consultancy and training for professionals working with young people across Gwent, helping them to respond effectively to substance use concerns.
