Following a successful first webinar, we still have three more dates for our newly developed webinar, ‘Understanding how to support people with the digital skills needed to access Pension Credit online.’ Individuals who joined our first webinar have said, “The training was very good. The trainer was helpful and knowledgeable about the subject.” “I have learnt that there are a lot of organisations which can help people to get online and help them with their Pension Credit Application.” We have worked collaboratively with the Department for Work and Pensions to provide information about how you may support someone with the digital skills to access Pension Credit online. The 21st December is the last safe date to apply for Pension Credit and seek backdating for this year’s entitlement for Winter Fuel Payment. This is a training session for members of staff and volunteers who may support people with the digital skills needed to access Pension Credit online. Within it, we will discuss the personal skills required to support someone to get online and consider the transferable digital skills associated with accessing online services.
