DeafBlind UK

Could your confidence use a boost? Perhaps your life has changed since the pandemic, or there’s a personal goal you’d like to work towards. Whatever your goals are, we’re here to help you feel more like yourself again.

Reconnections is a new service which helps you improve your confidence, become more active, find out about local social groups and make new friends. It’s completely free and available to people living in South Wales.

The Reconnections team can help you:

  • Set personal goals
  • Improve your mobility with a Mobility Buddy
  • Make new friends through local social groups or a befriender
  • Get practical support to help you try new things and achieve your goals!

Befriender volunteers can keep in contact and provide companionship via telephone, email or text.
