“The GAVO Volunteering Fair which takes place between 10 am – 2 pm on Wednesday 20th November at the University Campus Newport. The Volunteering Fair will have over 20 organisations attending, from health & social care to the arts and anything in between; there will be something for everyone!
Not only is volunteering a perfect steppingstone into employment, it’s also a brilliant way of improving wellbeing by doing something meaningful whilst making a difference to others!
We truly believe that everyone has something to give; whether you have a specific skill, a keen interest, have a bit of time on your hands or open to new learning experiences, we welcome people to come along to learn more about how they can get involved in volunteering across Newport.
Community groups and charities are in need of volunteers and trustees, and with so many interesting things happening in Newport, there has never been a better time to get involved.” (GAVO, 2024)
Hi I am interested. But 20th November is on a Thursday and not a Wednesday.
Thank you for your comment. This event was in 2024. Please contact GAVO if you are interested in any volunteering opportunities in Newport: sam.sims@gavo.org.uk
