Newport Outdoor Group (NOGs)
We offer walks on Monday and Thursday evenings in Summer and at least one evening walk a week in Winter as well as a variety of social activities. Walks vary from 3 miles to 10+ miles and take place on Monday and Thursday evenings and some weekends. We also offer walking weekends away once a month. Indoor events are also held on Monday evenings during the Winter.
Formed in 1960, we are a group run by a voluntary committee of members and offer a wide programme of events. New members are very welcome.

Why not try out our group for up to a maximum of 3 visits before paying our annual membership charge.
For Monday evening indoor events, we meet at the Ridgeway Community Centre, Ridgeway, Newport NP20 5DF
For Monday and Thursday evening walks and weekend walks, we meet at the start location of the walk as described by the walk leader/organiser. For all events please refer to our programme or the NOG Facebook Page for meeting times.
