Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in partnership with Muslim Doctors Cymru, held a community health event in the Islamic Society Mosque, Victoria Road, Newport. The teams from vaccinations were on hand to answer any questions and administer MMR vaccines. Muslim Doctors Cymru were carrying out blood pressure and pulse checks. Colleagues from health promotion, MELO, Your Newport, Alzheimers Society and community connectors were also in attendance to provide information for all aspects of health and wellbeing.
We were treated to delicious samosas from our very generous hosts and the feedback received was extremely positive from all those who attended.
